Urban spaces are saturated with branding, infiltrating nearly every aspect of life. Exaggerating this reality reveals a stark insight: as branding crafts narratives around everything, authentic experiences fade. This provocation urges reflection on a world where genuine connections risk being lost to commodified stories.
Resolution
NOW IN STOCK explores how branding fuels overconsumption by commodifying the intangible. In a speculative future, a vending machine stocks not products but branded "items" like Dreams, Shadows, and Wind—elements of our inner worlds reimagined as consumables.
These fictional brands underscore how branding shapes desires and decision-making by forging emotional connections and turning consumption into more than a transaction. NOW IN STOCK magnifies this influence, urging awareness of branding's pervasive impact on our choices.
