Brief
The current brand around the Ocean heavily revolves around superficial conversations about conservation. The brief asked to rebrand the Ocean as an important part of everyday lives to transform humanity’s relationship with the Ocean.
Insight
Most everyday essential products contain ocean ingredient sources and we are unaware of this fact. Reminding people of this would help them realise that they interact with the Ocean every day.
Solution
By using detection aesthetics, interactive AR stickers and a platform that provides everyday challenges to show and educate about the abundant existence of the Ocean around us.

Inspired by the storytelling nature of the Kanji writing system, we crafted illustrations that visually represent the essence of each season’s characteristics with Roku botanicals as accents.

Brand Activation
SHARE YOUR RIN: Social engagement cards for those who want to connect through their love of crafting and enjoying drinks. Sharing mocktail recipes and creating a ritual of unwinding to a special drink with the communities in third spaces. Random coaster numbers are matched to facilitate new community connections.







Immersive Experience
Visual particle stimulation of the four seasons, which react to the sound. Roku has previously recorded electronic signals from the botanicals to compose the song ‘Sense the Seasons’ with Aska Matsumiya. This immersive experience is an audio-reactive visual orchestra.
